PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device excellent in workability in maintenance care by a user such as paper jamming or the exchange of a processing unit. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a device main body whose upper surface part is opened, a recording paper cassette 23 provided inside the device main body and laminating and housing recording paper P, the processing unit 25 provided on the upper side of the cassette 23 so that it can get in and out from the upper surface opening part of the device main body and recording the image on the recording paper P while feeding the recording paper P, and an image read unit 28 provided to be moved in an opening/closing direction with respect to the upper surface opening part on the upper side of the processing unit 25 in the device main body and reading the image in a state where the original is placed. |
