PURPOSE:To reduce noise by mounting a reflector holder to an antenna so as to direct the direction with high directivity of the portable telephone set to the direction of a base station being a radio wave sender or a master set. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set is provided with a reflector 10 made of a metallic wire such as a copper wire and a reflector holder 11 with the reflector 10 mounted thereon and made of a plastic or an ABS resin or the like, and the reflector holder 11 has a cylinder 12 so as to be mounted to a projection of a helical antenna 2. When noise is generated during the communication by a portable telephone set main body 1, the reflector holder 11 is mounted to the helical antenna 2 and directivity is provided to the portable telephone set main body 1. As to a horizontal plane of the directivity especially, a reception level in a direction of the reflector 10 gets lower when viewing from the helical antenna 2 and the reception power level gets higher in a direction opposite thereto. That is, the combined characteristic of the antenna 2 and the reflector 10 has a directivity to the horizontal plane by mounting the reflector holder 11 to the antenna 2. |
