<p>PURPOSE:To display progress state in image for extending into a bit map by comparatively calculating the size of a page description language file concerning data information and an index on a file under processing and displaying the calculated result on a display every time. CONSTITUTION:A page description language processing part 123 performs processing for extending the data information into the bit map based on a page description language. A state managing part 126 is composed of a size reception part 21 for receiving the size of the page description language file processed by the page description language processing part 123, processing condition reception part 22, and arithmetic processing part 23 for calculating the progress state. Then, the size of the page description language file concerning the data information is compared with the index on the file under processing. Afterwards, that result is displayed on an input/display part 14. Therefore, even when the page description language starts processing from any part of a page, the progress state is fast displayed.</p> |
