PURPOSE:To take a copy in the shortest time in an automatic form feed selection mode. CONSTITUTION:A document size detecting means 6 detects document size. A form size detecting means 7 detects proper form size for copying a document from the detected document size and copy magnifications that a user specifies. A paper feed detecting means 8 detects all form feed parts 14a-14n in which forms of the detected size are put. A paper feed selecting means 9 selects the form feed part which is shortest in form feed time among the detected form feed parts 14a-14n on the basis of distances and copy quantities stored in a path storage part 2, and sends forms out of the selected form feed part. |
