PURPOSE:To obtain a solar beam power generating system in which high generation efficiency can be sustained stably while facilitating maintenance and management. CONSTITUTION:The solar beam power generation system comprises a first switch 3 for switching the output lines 12 connected in parallel with the positive and negative power supply output terminals of a solar cell string 1, a switch 2 for short-circuiting or open-circuiting the power supply output terminals, a comparator 7 for comparing the voltage between the detecting terminals at a predetermined position of the solar cell string and delivering a comparison signal, and a controller 8 for controlling the first and second switches based on the the comparison signal. A decision is made that a solar cell string 1 is abnormal when the voltage between the detecting terminals is lower than a predetermined level and the power supply output terminal thereof is interrupted from the output line and then the power supply output terminals are short-circuited. Identification code of abnormal string is presented on a display 9. |
