<p>PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently perform the debugging of a program or trace at the time of runaway without increasing the number of program steps and the memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:The microcomputer is provided with a relative address register 6 for holding prescribed address information and an arithmetic circuit 7 for performing prescribed arithmetic between the held information from a program counter 1 and the held information from the relative address register 6. An instruction decode/control part 5 is provided with a function for performing control so as to store the arithmetic result of the arithmetic circuit 7 in the prescribed address of a memory part 3 when the decoded instruction is a second PUSH instruction or to hold the stored information in the prescribed address of the memory part 3 in the program counter 1 when the instruction is a second POP instruction. The first PUSH instruction and POP instruction are processed samely as the conventional PUSH instruction and POP instruction.</p> |
