Edge and slab compactor

The slide plate of the compacter consists of two sections which are adjustable at an angle to each other and are exchangeable. Consequently, plane parallel surfaces, and in particular edge areas and side faces of different layer thicknesses, can be compacted. For better edge compacting, the machine is pressed onto the side edge of the road surface by a hydraulic cylinder. This can be simultaneously used for lateral displacement of the compactor.
