PURPOSE:To develop color in a high density based on thermal energy and form color former having high fastness and strong absorption in a near IR region by forming of carbonyl compound containing hydrogen atom at an alpha-position and imino compound represented by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:The thermal color developing composition comprises carbonyl compound containing hydrogen atom at an alpha-position and imino compound represented by a formula, wherein a ring X is an aromatic residue, Y is O, NH or OR2 (wherein R is 1-4C alkyl group, the ring may be formed by bonding between R), Rl, R<2> are independently halogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, aryloxy group, alkylthio group, arylthio group, dialkylamino group, amino group, nitro group, alkylsilyl group, alkylsilyloxy group or trifluoromethyl group, p, q are respectively independently an integer of 0-6 in such a manner that a sum of p and l is an integer of 0-6. |
