PURPOSE: To hold a lid in a completely closed position and to prevent the contents of a cigarette box from being damaged by cutting a semi-finished product constituting either a cigarette box lid or an inner frame to include a holding member in folding the semi-finished product of a cigarette box. CONSTITUTION: When extension type holding members D5, D6 are folded inward around each hinge line 19, 20 so as they adjoin the inner face of lid side wall panels B3, B4, they provide additional interference between the lid 500 inner face and the inner frame 200 outer face for supporting the lid 500 tightly closed at the top of a lower main body 400 and for preventing the lid from opening unexpectedly. Slots 21a, 22a are provided in each inner layer of the side wall panels W1 and W2 of the lower main body 400. When the box is offered to a consumer with the holding members D5, D6 in non-operational position, the holding members D5, D6 fall in the slots 21a, 22b when the lid 500 is closed. |
