PURPOSE:To generate duty shifting so as to surely disengage lockup in the of shifting, even if a lockup process prohibition time is set short or lockup control duty is gradually sifted in the case of lockup interruption control during the shifting. CONSTITUTION:A controller 9 shift-controls an automatic transmission 2 based on throttle opening TH and vehicle speed V via ON, Off of shift solenoids 6, 7 and sets a torque converter 3 into a lockup state or a converter state by duty control of a lockup solenoid 8. The controller 9 also decides duty sift rate of the lockup solenoid 8 so as to complete interruption in a shorter time than the set time of a lockup prohibition flog timer in the case of lockup interruption control during shifting. |
