PURPOSE:To provide a fuel reforming system easy to control a temp. in reforming treatment to improve an efficiency of reforming reaction in a reforming device and capable of preventing the generation of the thermal stress- breakage of a structural material of a reforming part due to an overheating by a burner. CONSTITUTION:A heat source gas sent to a vaporizing part and a reforming part of the reforming device is produced in a combustion device 30 provided with a cooling means for spraying a cooling water. This combustion device 30 has a burner 1 provided with plural torches 9 having triple pipe structure provided with a cooling water spray pipe for spraying a cooling water, a gaseous fuel feed pipe and an oxidizing gas supply pipe. Since water is used as a cooling medium for a temp. control of the heat source gas and cooling is executed by using its heat of vaporization a temp. control of the fuel reforming system is precisely attained with good cooling efficiency. Therefore, the overheating of the fuel reforming system and the thermal stress-breakage of its structural material are prevented. |
