The spray unit includes a tank (5) for the fluid to be sprayed, a pump (6) and a spray system with nozzles. It also has a monitoring and control assembly (4) for the functioning of the sprayer, linked to a control unit (8) on the carrier vehicle and informing the operative about the state of valves and motors. The control unit has a memory and is linked to sensors monitoring content, filling and mixing of fluid in the tank, contents of a rinsing chamber and rinsing of the tank, spray bar and communicating pipes.
