<p>PURPOSE: To obtain vanadium pentoxide less liable to cause outflow due to diffusion and less liable to lose its antistatic performance by forming a clad of a polymer formed by oxidizing an oxidation polymerizable compd. CONSTITUTION: This fibrous vanadium pentoxide has a protective clad layer formed by disposing an overcoat layer of an oxidation polymerizable compd. The oxidation polymerizable monomer is applied to vanadium pentoxide preferably doped with silver as it is or in the state of an aq. soln., a soln. in a solvent or vapor. The monomer is oxidized with the vanadium pentoxide to form a polymer and the protective clad layer is formed. The monomer is, e.g. aniline, pyrrole, thiophene, furan, selenophene or tellurophene. An antistatic layer is formed by coating with a colloidal soln. of this fibrous vanadium pentoxide.</p> |
