<p>PURPOSE:To perform an efficient dust-removing at a less-expensive facility expenditure by a method wherein two-layer fluid of water and air is atomized to discharging gas containing dusts passed through a sintered ore layer within a sintered ore cooler pan and ascending through it, fine powder ores contained in the discharged gas are settled and adhered within a sintered ore product and discharged from the ore discharging part of the cooler pan together with the sintered ore product. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of atomizing nozzles 14 are arranged above a fixed hood 7 installed at an upper part of a cooler pan 6 along an advancing direction of the sintered ore and they are installed in such a manner that the number of nozzles is increased as they approach a discharging cylinder 10. As atomized water droplets atomized from the atomization nozzles 14, two-layer fluid of water and air is applied, the atomizing positions may well be adapted in an area showing a slow gas flow rate in such a way that the settling of the fine powder ores is promoted and their proper positions are spaced apart by about 500 to 1000mm from the surface of the sintered ore layer 15 within the cools pan 6. The fine powder ores in the contained gas 13 strike against the atomized water droplets and the ores are struck down, resulting in that the ores are settled and adhered into the sintered ore product and then discharged out of the ore discharging part 8 of the cooler pan 6 together with the sintered ore product. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to remove dusts with a less- expensive facility cost.</p> |
