<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the moving distance of a mode lever and to miniaturize a device by placing the mode lever on a high speed transfer position and performing a desired winding before loading prior to the start of recording/ reproducing operations after a cassette is loaded. CONSTITUTION:After a cassette is loaded, priot to starting a loading operation, the engaging pin of a lever 17 is placed on a preloading winding position 151b within a cam groove 151. When that a mode lever 13 has come to the position of corresponding FF/REW, a preloading winding position 131b, is detected by a switch pattern and a switch block arranged on a cab board 15, in the case where a leader tape is detected on a take-up reel base 3T side by a tape end sensor (a tape is not wound on the take-up reel base 3T and thus the tape is not pulled out), an instruction is given by a control circuit to wind the amount of the tape to be pulled out at the time of a loading operation on the take-up reel base 3T as an FF mode instantaneously. Thus, a plurality of operations are peformed on the same position of the mode lever 13 and thereby, the moving distance is shorten.</p> |
