<p>PURPOSE:To prevent breakdown of a G sensor in a semiconductor acceleration sensor device even if the semiconductor acceleration sensor device is dropped accidentally. CONSTITUTION:In a semiconductor acceleration sensor device 1 composed of a G sensor 5, a base 3 whereon the G sensor 5 is fixed and a cover member 2 which is fixed to a contour part of the base 3 and covers the G sensor 5, an impact relaxing member 2a projecting outside the contour part of the base 3 and relaxing an impact caused by collision with a floor or others when the semiconductor acceleration sensor device 1 is accidentally dropped is provided. On the occasion when the semiconductor acceleration sensor device 1 is dropped and collides with the floor or others, first a projecting part of the impact relaxing member 2a or the cover member 2 collides therewith and is deformed or bent. Thereby the impact at the time of the collision is absorbed, acceleration applied to the G sensor 5 is reduced into an allowable range thereof and thus breakdown of the G sensor 5 can be prevented.</p> |
