PURPOSE:To provide a process cartridge capable of extending replacement interval of process cartridge through developer replenishing and recycling of waste toner and, at the same time, achieving the adjustment of the concentration of two-component developer and the maintenance of development performance. CONSTITUTION:The process cartridge is equipped with at least a developing part which develops a latent image formed on the surface of an image carrier, and a cleaning part which cleans the surface of the image carrier after image transfer and recovers residual toner. In the process cartridge where the cleaning part and the developing part are arranged so that one is higher than the other in a positional relationship, and the recovered-toner storage part of the cleaning part and the inside space of the developing part are connected, the cleaning part is provided with a toner replenishing device 31, and a storage chamber 29 capable of storing the developer discharged from the developing part is added. |
