PURPOSE:To obtain the selective call receiver in which a notice tone, that is, a call tone is changed at the receiver side only without revision of a call number and notice tone type information sent from a base station. CONSTITUTION:When a notice pattern is desired to be revised, a key of a key entry section 6 is at first operated to set the mode to rewrite a content of a register and any of registers PA-PG in a memory 7 whose content is to be rewritten is selected by the operation of another key. Furthermore, the content of the register selected by the operation of the other key, that is, a head address of the notice pattern data is changed to a head address of other notice pattern data sequentially.
