PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform an input processing without inputting customer information again when a receptionist resumes to take an interrupted order by storing and holding customer information inputted at need in a handy terminal for every table symbol also after ordered data is transmitted to a work station. CONSTITUTION:The transmission key A 11a of a keyboard 11 provided on a handy terminal 1 is the key for transmitting data for which an input processing is performed to a workstation 2 and for preserving customer information for which the input processing is performed in a customer memory as a preservation instruction means. Therefore, when a receptionist does not complete all the orders of a table, the receptionis is instructed to preserve the customer information with the transmission key A 11a. As a result, the customer information for which the input processing is performed is preserved in the customer memory matching with the table symbol for which the input processing is performed. Next, when the input processing is performed for this table symbol, the customer information matching with this table symbol is extracted from the customer memory and the input processing is performed for the information. |
