PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic transmission method of a communication wire rod, capable of reducing any friction between this communication wore rod and a pipeline and laying and recovering this long communication wire rod, in this method conveying the communication wire into the pipeline by means of an air flow. CONSTITUTION:A communication wire rod 1 is fed out of a reel 2, and conveyed to a pipeline 3 via pressure-feed head 4. In this case, compressed air out of a compressor 5 is also fed to the pipeline 3 by this head 4. In addition, a release cylinder 7 is attached to a T branch 6 in the midway of the pipeline 3, and those of stored small diameter grains 9 are fed to the pipeline 3 little by little. In succession, a recovery bottle 10 is attached to an outlet side of the pipeline 3, and an air flow to be sprayed out of this outlet side is exhausted through a filter 11, while the small diameter grains are recovered. These small grains 9 are made to flow into th pipeline 3 together with the air flow, whereby the communication wire rod is uplifted as far as a portion for the grain diameter, and further, any friction resistance is reduced by means of rolling of the grains, through which such an action increasing the extent of slidability is thus produced. |
