<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the machining of the fiber-reinforced plastic filament bodies of a tension reinforcing layer in a flexible duplex pipe and make the fixing of an end part firm. CONSTITUTION:Fiber-reinforced plastic filament bodies 4a, 4b with thermoplastic resin as matrix resin are used for the tension reinforcing layer of a flexible duplex pipe so as to be wound in close contact around a pipe body. Torsion is not generated even with tension applied thereto, and the filament bodies are not disjointed even if the pipe body is cut so as to facilitate the bending of the end part. The tip parts of the fiber-reinforced plastic filament bodies 4a, 4b are provided with bent hook parts 9, and the bent hook parts 9 are fixed into a thermosetting resin filled-solidified part 18 in an end fitting 10. The fixing of the end part of the tension reinforcing layer is thereby made firm.</p> |
