<p>PURPOSE:To attain high performance using a method for manufacturing a color filter through intaglio printing techniques. CONSTITUTION:Surplus ink 71 is provided in a recess 4 in the surface of an intaglio plate 3. A surface ink-proofing roller 11 is rolled along the surface of the intaglio plate 3 to fill the recess 4 with ink 7. The filling ink 7 is used to print on a glass substrate. A means for providing the surplus ink 71 includes a method using a doctor blade, a stacking method in which offset or screen printing is repeated, and a method using a dispenser. In order to make ink in the recess 4 of the intaglio plate easy to be released, a thin-film layer composed mainly of silicone or fluorine and providing a weaker adhesion with the filling ink 7 than that between the filling ink 7 and a blanket is formed at least inside the recess 4.</p> |
