CLASS-E PUSH-PULL POWER AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To operate two switching elements in an ideal state or a state close to the ideal state by providing a resonance circuit comprising 1st-3rd elements connected in series to the amplifier circuit and selecting the impedance of the 1st and the 3rd elements at both ends of the resonance circuit to be nearly equal to each other. CONSTITUTION:The resonance circuit comprises 1st-3rd elements Z1-Z3 connected in series and the impedance of the 1st and the 3rd elements Z1, Z3 at both ends of the circuit is selected nearly equal to each other. When the impedance of one of the 1st and the 3rd elements Z1, Z3 and the 2nd element Z2 is capacitive, the other is selected to be inductive. Thus, the class-E push-pull power amplifier circuit is formed nearly symmetrically and then two switching elements Qa, Qb are easily operated in an ideal state or a state close to the ideal state.
