The method involves forming a cassette support(400) from a thermoplastic material, having locating parts (434,460,465,470,472) for the thermistance (102). The support (400) also has parts (450,455,420) which ensure centering of the cassette and axial positioning (444,449) of the cassette in the mould. The method also involves placing the thermistance (102) on the cassette support (400), placing the cassette support and the thermistance in the mould and forming a support base (300) moulded over at least a part of the cassette support (400) and the thermistance by injection of the thermoplastic material into the mould.
