The branch piece (1) fitted between two tubular elements in a main conduit consists of a tubular body (2) with two ends (4) by which it is joined to the main conduit. This branch piece consists of branch connections (13,18) which allow the fitting of at least two branch pipes to the main conduit. The branch connections (13,18) are closed by a closure which is able to withstand, in service, the circulation conditions of the contained fluid and that of the action of the soil. In the case of requiring the fitting of a branch pipe, the closure can be eliminated without displacing or replacing the branch piece.
