The heat exchanger has metal tubes whose ends are positively, frictionally coupled to a plastics tube plate with through bores (2), separate plastics coupler, connecting branch, and a flange, with the latter liq.- and gas-tight coupled to the tube plate. The branch has an annular recess towards the tube plate for the tube end. The tube plate has inner rings (8) concentric to the through bores, forming annular grooves (7) with outer rings (9). The inner rings have a height (H1) different from that (H2) of the outer rings.
