A flat portion (1) is fixed in position or secured to a further section of furniture. At one end a lug (2) is folded back parallel to this portion and through 180 deg. A holding screw (3) to the furniture section (9) is concealed from the outside, passing through the lug or an insert (7) between the latter and the flat portion. The screw head (4) is accommodated in a recess formed by cutting the inner covering layer of the corrugated cardboard forming the flat portion, or in a recess in the insert. The portion of the screw shank (5) below the head can be polygonal, so as to prevent rotation.
