PURPOSE:To play sampled sounds without hindrance by generating a musical sound signal from an incorporated sound source means and sampling this signal to store it in a storage means at the time of not inputting an external sound signal for a certain time. CONSTITUTION:When it is indicated by a sampling indication means 4 that the sound signal is taken in from a sound signal input means 1 and its waveform sample data is written in a storage means 3, a sampling control means 5 starts counting of a prescribed time and checks whether a rise detecting means 5 detects the rise of the sound signal during this time or not. When the rise of the sound signal from the sound signal input means 1 is detected then, waveform sample data of this sound signal is stored in the storage means 3 as normal. Meanwhile, when the rise of the sound signal is not detected during said prescribed time, the musical sound signal is generated from an incorporated sound source means 2 and its waveform sample data is written in the storage means 3. The mode is automatically switched to the internal sound sampling mode to store the musical sound signal in the storage means 3 in this manner. Thus, sampled sounds are played without hindrance. |
