PURPOSE:To provide a regeneration type dry dehumidifier in which a movable part is not provided and adsorption/desorption efficiencies are good by attaching an adsorbent to both external surfaces of a hollow plate to constitute a heat exchange plate and using two sets of adsorption/desorption unit provided with the heat exchange plate and changing over cooling water and heating water so as to pass cooling water on one side and to pass heating water on the other side. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchange plate for adsorption and desorption is constituted by forming adsorbent layers 2 on both external surfaces of a hollow plate 1. Adsorption/desorption units A, B are constituted by arranging many sheets of the heat exchange plate in an air passage C. Two sets of adsorption/desorption unit are arranged in parallel. Cooling water and heating water are alternately changed over and passed through the hollow plate of a first adsorption/desorption unit A and through the hollow plate of a second adsorption/desorption unit B, so that heating water is passed on the other side when cooling water is passed on one side. Dehumidified air D is taken out from the adsorption/desorption unit in which cooling water is passed. In such a way, a moisture adsorption/desorption function is imparted to a plate type heat exchanger and also adsorption/desorption and regeneration are performed.
