PURPOSE:To provide a developing device for an air bag cover which is constituted to eliminate a need for a break part when it is developed, facilitate design of an air bag cover, eliminate a need to select and develop a material, and perform smooth development of an air bag cover. CONSTITUTION:A developing device 2 for an air bag cover comprises a housing 3 in which an air bag 7 expandable and developing to the inside is contained; and an air bag cover 5 with which the opening part 4 of the housing 3 is covered. One end part 5a of an air bag cover 5 is rotatably mounted on the upper part of the housing 3 and a spring mechanism 6 is disposed between the housing 3 and one end part 5a of the air bag cover 5. The air bag cover 5 is held in a non-developing state through the energizing force of the spring mechanism 6. |
