PURPOSE:To improve the storage stability of a developed color image by providing a thermal recording layer containing a carbonyl compd. having a hydrogen atom at its alpha-position, a specific imino compd. and an aromatic isocyanate compd. on a support. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material is formed by providing a thermal recording layer containing a carbonyl compd. having a hydrogen atom at its alpha-position, an imino compd. represented by the general formula (wherein a ring X is an aromatic compd. residue forming a conjugated system along with C=NH, Y is O or NH, R<1> and R<2> are a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an aryloxy group, p and q are an integer of 0-6 and p+q is an integer of 0-6) and an aromatic isocyanate compd. on a support. As a suitable example of the carbonyl compd. having a hydrogen atom at its alpha-position, there is acetophenone or 1-phenyl-1,2-propane and, as a suitable example of the imino compd. represented by the general formula, there is 1,3- diiminoisoindoline. |
