PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent durability and useful for e.g. a vacuum-pump oil by compounding a lubricating-oil base material of a mineral substance and/or synthetic substance with a compound, e.g. a phenolic, amine, S-containing or P-containing compound which is easily soluble in the base material and free from crystallization under working conditions of a lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:This lubricating-oil composition excellent in ozone resistance and oxidation resistance and useful for e.g. a vacuum pump oil is obtained by compounding a lubricating-oil base material (e.g. alkyldiphenyl ether) of a mineral substance and/or synthetic substance with at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a phenolic compound [e.g. n-octyl-3-(4- hydroxy-3',5'-di-t-butylphenyl)propionate], an amine compound [e.g. p- alkylphenyl-alpha-naphtylamine], a sulfur-containing compound (e.g. dilaurylthiodiisopropionate) and a phosphor-containing compound (e.g. diphenyldecylphosphite), easily soluble in the base material and free from crystallization under working conditions of lubricating oil. |
