PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of unevenness of a stripe shape prolonging in the direction of sub-scan at the time of output. CONSTITUTION:A latch 17 and an encoder 18 select a dot recording clock signal synchronizing with a detection signal VS. A third counter 20 enabled by a flip- flop 22 counts the dot recording clock signal until the detection signal VE is outputted, and the latch 25 and the encoder 26 select the dot recording clock signal synchronizing with the detection signal VE also. A conversion table 28 calculates the transfer data imparting respective transfer timing, etc., from the subtraction value and the count values of both selection values, and further, the data are subtracted only by the random data. Thus, the data in a shift register 29 become the data whose respective transfer positions are changed at random. First, second counters 30, 31 control an adder 32 based on the transfer data, and a second selector 33 transfers and outputs a transfer dot recording clock signal phiX at a random time interval. The process is performed at every surface of scanning polygon mirror. |
