The invention relates to a current generator apparatus for powering at least two probes intended to be applied onto a part of the human body with a view to a therapeutic treatment in the field of biophysics and physiology. This apparatus comprises an autonomous electrical supply source (2) capable of delivering a constant voltage, means (18) for generating a constant current, frequency generator means (10, 19) capable of converting the constant current so as to deliver a current having the shape of biphase square-wave (rectangular) pulses with zero mean and steep edges, the total duration T in mu s of which lies substantially between 200 mu s and 800 mu s, and means (12, 14, 15) for timing the sending of the pulse starts, which means can trigger a pulse every k x 15 ms, with k = 1 or 4. <IMAGE> |
