TEXT VOICE SYNTHESIS METHOD AND METHOD EXECUTING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a method and a device to synthesize a text voice by which the naturalness of accent phrase connection is improved by paying attention only to a modifying-modified expression 'B of A'. CONSTITUTION:The device has a modifying expression discrimination process section [7] which discriminates whether adjacent two paragraphs are modifying- modified expression by a case postpositional particle 'of' or not and a limited/ unlimited accent phrase connection setting process section [8] which discriminates whether the modifying-modified expression has a limited relationship or a unlimited relationship when the adjacent two paragraphs are a modifying-modified expression by a case postpositional particle 'of' and performs an accent phrase connection setting process. If the adjacent two paragraphs are not the modifying-modified expression by a case postpositional particle 'of', the accent phrase connection setting process is performed employing an integral information only.
