PURPOSE:To make the KANA (Japanese syllabary writing)/KANJI (Chinese characters) conersion of homonyms accurately. CONSTITUTION:If there is candidates having the same sound for on each phrase of the inputted character string which is sectioned into phrases, whether or not an example which is accomplished by combining words around the homonyms is in a dictionary is searched. In this case, whether or not another phrase is between words which comprises the example in the inputted character string is checked. When there is another phrase in the searched example, whether or not the example serves as an example is checked even though another phrase is interrupted by referring jump information 523 of example information 522. As the result, the conversion candidate of the KANA/KANJI conversion is decided. |
