<p>PURPOSE:To provide an optical sensor excellent in the maintenance performance and in the sensor operating rate in which paper sheets is sensed excellently, the mount structure is simplified, the number of wire components is reduced and the wiring structure is simplified. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 22, a light receiving element 23 and their leads 25 are built in an enclosed case 11 and the lead 25 and a wire 28 are connected by a connector 17. The connector 17 is provided to the enclosed case 11. A plastic case 21 covering the light emitting element 22 and the light receiving element 23 is provided in the enclosed case 11 and convex lens shaped transparent parts 29,30 are formed to the plastic case 21. Furthermore, the enclosed case 11 is provided with light transmission sections 14, 15, and the lower faces 14a, 15a of the light transmission sections 14, 15 are formed to be convex lenses. The enclosed case 11 is fitted by inserting the light transmission sections 14, 15 to a hole 32 of a carrier guide 31. A prism 12 is provided opposite to the light transmission sections 14, 15. The prism 12 is fitted to a carrier guide 33 and the carrier guide 33 together with a carrier guide 31 forms a carrier path 35 for the paper 34.</p> |
