PURPOSE:To precisely and speedily maintain a station work equipment by reporting the fault contents of the station work equipment to a maintenance center without human intervention. CONSTITUTION:When a communication control part receives fault data telegraphic message from a monitor 3, a data summing-up device 5 stores a fault content code, a station name code, etc., in a summing-up memory to output them to the fault data extraction part of a fault data transmitting part 35. The fault data extraction part extracts the fault data telegraphic message necessitating repair by a maintenance person and a control part reads out character pattern data corresponding to the fault contents code, the station name code, etc., from a code character pattern data storage part and stores them in a main memory so as to generate facsimile data. Next, the control part allows the communication control part to connect a line by a facsimile equipment 8 and a public line 6 through the use of the facsimile number of the facsimile equipment 8 of the maintenance center 7, which is stored in a main memory, and transmits facsimile data to the facsimile equipment 8 of the maintenance center 7. |
