PURPOSE:To provide an improved route guiding device in which safety, functional property and operability are especially improved in addition to improvements on defects in a conventional technology. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a guide point and guide information generating means 3 generating each guide information such as a voice message, a billboard indication and a magnified diagram of crossing, a guide output timing discrimination means 4 deciding a timing when each guide information with respect to each guide point is to be outputted based on a distance between a guide point and a vehicle position, a speed of a vehicle and complicated road network around the guide point, a voice message output control means 5 outputting the voice message via a voice output means 1 in the output mode in response to the guidance direction, a billboard display output control means 6 outputting a billboard display via a video output means 2 in the output mode in response to the guide direction, and a magnified diagram crossing output control means 7 outputting a magnified diagram crossing via a video output means 2 in the output mode in response to the guide direction. |
