<p>PURPOSE:To simultaneously use a television and a personal computer by tentatively stopping the operation of the personal computer while a display device displays a television screen. CONSTITUTION:This television is constituted of the television provided with a TV tuner 1-2 and the personal computer (PC) for which the television is the display device, is operated as a normal television when a card PC 3-1 is not mounted and is operated as the television with the built-in PC when the card PC 3-1 is mounted. That is, a video control circuit 1-1 selects or synthesizes video signals from the TV tuner 1-2 and the video signals from the card PC 3-1 and outputs them to a flat panel monitor 1-4. Then, by a suspending/ resuming circuit 1-3, when the monitor 1-4 of the television displays the television screen, the execution of the card PC 3-1 is tentatively turned to a stopped state.</p> |
