Video camera monitoring system for surveillance and observation

The monitoring system provides continuous images on a number of screens that are observed by a watchman. Sensor elements, e.g. opto-electronic devices can be readily attached to the screens that respond to a significant change in brightness and/or colour. The sensors trigger on-off devices to actuate acoustic or visual generators to draw attention to the related display. The process may also be used to react to change in position of an object within the field.
