PURPOSE:To generate fading over a wide frequency range by using an output of a variable frequency oscillator so as to convert a carrier frequency of a multi-path fading signal into a carrier frequency of an input modulation wave. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is converted 14 into a prescribed input frequency of a multi-path fading signal simulator 15 and five paths with different delay time are generated 31 in the multi-path fading signal simulator 15. The output of the multi-path fading signal simulator 15 is converted into a frequency equal to the frequency of the input signal and outputted 16. The frequency of a variable frequency oscillator 18 in which the input signal is converted into the prescribed input frequency of the multi-path fading signal simulator 15 and the output of the multi-path fading signal simulator 15 is converted into the same frequency as that of the input signal, takes two values so as to make the carrier frequency constant and the frequency is displayed on a display means 20. Thus, fading is generated over a wide frequency range. |
