PURPOSE:To permit a driver to be surely restrained by installing a pretension mechanism for releasing and then restraining the pulling-out and taking-up of a webbing through the switching of a switch or the sensing of an impact, and a webbing folding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In the mounting of a webbing 2, if a driver senses an oppressive feeling and switches a reset switch to ON side, the solenoid 4e of a pretension mechanism 4 is energized for a prescribed time by a timer circuit. Then, a brake arm 4b turns in the counterclockwise direction and is separated from the webbing 2, and press-contacts the webbing 2 again, and restrains said webbing 2. In other words, the webbing 2 is pulled out much more than a prescribed pulled-out quantity. If in this state, a large impact is applied, the solenoid 8c of a webbing folding mechanism 8 is energized, and the webbing 2 is folded through a roller 8h by the turn by the spring 8e of a turning arm 8. |
