<p>The invention relates to an intermediate tip (small plate) for the sliding rail of a binding element, particularly but not exclusively for a ski binding. The sliding rail (2) comprises a base (3) in the form of an "inverted OMEGA ", with two lateral wings (7, 8) which are raised with respect to the upper surface of the ski.
