The ferrite stainless steel slab includes (by wt.) 4-10% Cr, up to 0.03% C, 0.03% N, up to 1.0% Si, up to 1.0% Mn, 3-6% Al and balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The slab is heated to 1,200- 1,300 deg.C and is hot-rolled at the finish rolling temp. of above 1,000 deg.C. The method omits an annealing step after hot rolling, and enhances the productivity of ferrite stainless steel sheet without lowering of oxidation and corrosion resistances and mechannical properties.
