Apparatus for securing a belisha beacon to a support member (e.g. a post) comprises a cup-shaped member 6, 7 adapted to be secured to the support member via recess 1 and a clamping ring (15), 16 which seats within the cup-shaped member and is releasably secured thereto by fixing members 9. The clamping ring is formed with an upstanding annular lip 16 of external diameter slightly less than the internal diameter of the recessed rim 22 of a Belisha beacon globe 19, and through which screw threaded members 18 can pass towards and away from a recess 22 formed in the globe rim selectively to lock and release the globe to the clamping ring.
