PURPOSE:To enable the making of bread with a simple operation without use of a separate heating device in the production of sweet bread such as jam-filled bread or bread such as croissant requiring working in a bread making process. CONSTITUTION:This bread making apparatus is provided with a resting means 68 to output a signal to a control section 50 to stop the operation of making bread before a baking process, a restarting means (comparison means) 72 to output a signal to a control section for restarting the operation of making bread stopped by the resting means and a timepiece device 70 to count time elapsed to enable the outputting of a restarting output after a fixed time.
