PURPOSE:To reduce the load variation caused in the driving system for a rotary cam and perform changing-over between the overlap mode and non-overlap mode quickly and easily. CONSTITUTION:A folding machine with a collecting mechanism is equipped with a stationary cam 31 provided with a profile 31A for making the needle 15B of a collecting drum 15 perform the specified handover motion and a rotary cam 30 having a shield part 30A to enclose the cam profile 31A, wherein changing-over between the collect mode, in which overlapped folded leaves are exhausted, and the non-collect mode for exhaustion of non-overlapped folded leaves is conducted by switching/changing the phase of the rotary cam 30 relative to the collecting drum 15 using a phase adjusting means. |
