PURPOSE:To eliminate the feeling of physical disorder and let an electrostatic type transducer serve also as a boosting transformer in the headphone by said transducer which uses a transformer in synthesizing the sounds of the antiphase components of right and left sounds in stereo signals. CONSTITUTION:This refers to the synthesizer which synthesizes the respectively antiphase components of the left and right audio signals L, R in stereo signals by applying the same to the other sides by using a transformer T1 having mutually oppositely coupled magnetic paths M1, M2, wherein if the left and right signals L', R' being derived from the secondary winding of the transformer T1 are supplied to the headphone the localization of sound image will localize not backward above the head as with conventional headphones but in the space outside the head and therefore it becomes equivalent to that when speakers are used thus said signals may be listened to as natural sounds which do not associate any feeling of physical disorder. |
