PURPOSE:To obtain the subject formulation excellent in percutaneous absorbability and capable of easily attaining local anesthesia only by attaching and removing various pains, e.g. an injection pain, and easily peelable without making hands, fingers and clothes dirty. CONSTITUTION:A (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer added with a local anesthetic agent is coated on a supporting base body and crosslinked. Then, the coated base body is impregnated with an aqueous liquid and gelled to obtain the objective gel formulation for local anesthesia.
